Canon EOS 60Da Review - For those of you who like to shoot stars in the sky or are enthusiastic about astronomical things in outer space, Canon presents a special camera to fulfill your hobby, namely the Canon EOS 60Da. Canon also released a similar generation of special astronomy cameras in 2005 by adopting the Canon 20D DSLR camera technology.
This time for the newest generation, Canon comes with the adoption of the Canon EOS 60D camera which comes with a 3-inch swivel screen and an 18 megapixel resolution CMOS sensor which is able to present photos with minimal noise. There is even a choice of ISO up to 6400 which can be expanded to ISO 12800.
The difference between astronomical versions and ordinary DSLR cameras lies only in the level of alpha hydrogen sensitivity. With the latest infra-red filter technology it carries, the Canon EOS 60Da has a hydrogen alpha sensitivity level that is 3x more sensitive than DSLR cameras in general. Thanks to this, the Canon EOS 60Da can be used to capture the beauty of outer space, nebulae and other cosmic phenomena with a clearer and sharper result.
For the lens, apart from using a super telephoto EF-lens, the Canon EOS 60Da can also be paired with a telescope via a T-ring adapter. For those of you who want to just have a look at outer space, with Live View mode, the Canon EOS 60Da can be connected to a television screen to get a bigger screen display.
If you are interested in owning it, the Canon EOS 60Da was available in the market in April 2012 with a price tag of around $ 1499.
